The top reason to form an LLC for a bookseller is to gain access to the personal asset protection provided by this business structure. Whether you sell books online or you have a brick-and-mortar retail space, you need the limited liability protections that an LLC can provide.
As an example, let’s say that a customer slips on a wet spot on your floor, falls over, and injures themselves.
