If we need to update your information with the state, then we will need to prepare and submit the proper paperwork via this amendment to the state.

That depends on what changes your state allows you to make with an amendment. Usually, most of the information in your LLC or corporation business formation documents can be changed with an amendment. In some states, certain changes must be made with a different form, and other changes may not require an amendment.

If the state does not require an amendment for the changes you’re making, you can update your operating agreement and have it notarized for the changes to take effect.

If you have Worry-Free Compliance, you receive two amendment credits each year that waive the ZenBusiness amendment filing fee. You are still responsible for any state fees.
