Show them the way back

Getting people to remember your url.

If you are doing a good job marketing your web site, getting it listed in search engines and linked from other sites, new visitors will find your web site every day of the week. And, if you have a lot of good content and information on your site, those visitors may print it out for future reference. But, what happens when they pull that printout out of their files or ToDo pile a month or two from now? Will they remember your URL?

Don’t count on it. If they reached your site through a link from another web site, there’s a chance that the other web site layout will prevent your URL from being shown. Make sure visitors can find their way back by including your URL in text at the bottom of every web page.
