How to Conduct a Colorado Business Entity Search
You may use the Colorado Secretary of State business database to lookup a corporation or LLC in a number of ways: by name, trademark, trade name, ID number, or document number. An advanced search will allow you to pare down the search results by submitting as much information as possible. This function can prove very useful prior to registration if you’re uncertain about the originality of your chosen entity name. You will also be able to view detailed information about each of the businesses on file with the Secretary of State if you choose to employ this entity search option. Search Colorado SOS by Name, Trademark, or Trade Name
Step 1- Go to This Webpage and use the first blank bar to input your information. You can search by either the business name, trademark, or trade name. Enter the information in the blank space available and then click the “Search” button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2- You will now be given a detailed list of the entities that have the name you searched. You can gain further information about these entities simply by clicking on them. The information that will be presented to you simply from the results page is as follows:

Step 1 – Go to This Webpage and enter the ID number or document number in the second blank field available. This will be smaller sized bar just below where it asks you to enter the “Business name, trademark or trade name”. Once your information has been entered, click the Search button at the bottom of the screen to conduct your search.
Step 2 – You will be presented with the search results where the below information will be presented to you. Click on the ID Number, to access to the business details page.

Advanced Searching in Colorado
